Can you clarify what size these are? 39 EU usually corresponds to a US women's 9, but you've listed these as 8-8.5. Are you saying that they run especially small? Thanks for whatever further details you can provide!

@disastersquirre I went by the sizing provided on the Glerups website. They have a whole sizing section on their website to refer to. They actually have them listed as an 8.5, but I’m used to a 39 EU being 8-8.5 women’s.
