Vintage Cocktail/Formal Dress from I Magnin Department Store 1980’s,Sz 12

Pre-owned. Sophisticated Classic 1980’s Cocktail dress Red satin peplum top, oversized bow with rhinestone detailing. Spaghetti straps, black velvet pencil skirting zips up the back with 7” slit at the hemline. Highly characteristic of the 1980’s-does-50’s” vintage market. The manufacturer or designer was Pantages, but only the label I. Magnin is sewn in the garment. I. Magnin was a high- end legendary, luxury department store in San Francisco, founded in 1986. Legacy’s ‘Vintage Catwalk Through the Ages’ has had several models walk the runway receiving a GREAT round of applause. It is quite a treasure. Very good condition. The slit in the back of skirt was repaired at one time. In good condition.
