Rare 1980s Mondi Black Leather Jacket + Culotte Shorts Set

A striking vintage two-piece from Mondi — sculptural, structured, and effortlessly chic. Crafted from supple black leather and finished with signature embossed gold crest buttons throughout. The cropped jacket features a clean cut with double rows of statement buttons, while the high-waisted pleated culotte shorts complete the look with a strong, directional silhouette. The original shoulder pads have been removed to create a softer, more modern shape. Interior lining shows an opening at the seam from this alteration, not visible when worn and does not affect overall wear. Beautiful weight and drape to the leather with natural creasing consistent with age. Purchased at the Mondi boutique in the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas.
