This is a vintage Cornwall County Insignia horse brass, likely originating from Penzance, Cornwall, England, designed as a decorative harness medallion. This brass features the Duchy of Cornwall's coat of arms, a crusader shield with "fifteen bezants" (gold coins). The insignia includes the Cornish motto "onen hag oll", which translates to "one and all". Antique equestrian horse brass, a decorative brass plaque, ornament, traditionally used to adorn the leather harness gear of heavy draft or parade horses. In the mid-19th century in England, they became a popular form of decoration for Shire and parade horses. They are a sought after collector's item today.
