Antique silk embroidered heart scissor case, double sided Hand-stitched floral embroidery covers both faces. One side features a mottled blue silk ground with a cream satin-stitch flower at center, smaller blossoms, and a trailing vine with a leaf at the lower point. The reverse features a cream silk ground with a four-petal purple flower, green stem work, trailing vine, and small purple buds in the upper corners. Edges are whip-stitched in dark embossed thread Opens at the top with a cotton or muslin lining inside. Small wire loop at the top for hanging, consistent with chatelaine accessories of the period.
