‘Chikan Kari’ Embroidered Pista/Light Green Linen Top Size S

This dress features ‘Chikan Kari’ work which is a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow, India. It is typically known for its delicate thread patterns. This has a square-style neckline and ¾ length sleeves. The central panel and neckline are highlighted with contrasting embroidery and ‘pearl-work’ embroidery. The background is a pista green/light green. The embroidery colors are coral, deep green, white and silver. There are slits on each side. This top typically is worn with ‘salwar’ pants (loose baggy pants). The length of this top is approximately 33” from the armpit to the hem. The slit measures about 21”. The sleeve measures about 13” from armpit to hem. All of the embroidery is completely intact. There are no rips and/or stains anywhere on this unique top. It is in excellent condition.
