Vintage Otagiri Japan coaster set, likely from the mid-century modern era. These coasters are characterized by their black lacquer finish and decorative fan designs in red, gold, and white. The Otagiri Mercantile Company (OMC), headquartered in San Francisco, produced these items primarily in Japan during the 1960s and 1970s. These are in excellent used condition, with a few tiny scratches on the top lid. They measure 3.75 x3.75 inches.
