Fragonard courting couple plaques or similar Romantic-era miniature painting

Artistic Style: The piece appears to be a Romantic miniature, a genre popular for depicting idealized pastoral or "courting" scenes.Framing: It features a distinctive double-framed design: a small, highly ornate inner gold frame holding the painting, mounted on a dark (likely velvet or painted wood) background, all contained within a larger square gold outer frame.Medium: These miniatures were commonly oil on wood, porcelain, or even oleographs (textured prints made to look like oil paintings).
