projectresale @joclynnfogelman I did take the bag out and gave it an examination to insure it met the standards I have with items I sell. I want to put a form in it and steam it. It hasn’t been stored well and I think it’s a bit slouchy and creased. I think it just needs to be steamed since it’s a canvas. Let me work on it tonight and I will take more accurate photos that will identify any flaws. I hope that is acceptable. I will message you once it’s finished.

projectresale @joclynnfogelman I wish I could send you photos directly. I guess I can upload them. Probably should anyway. As I mentioned the bag wasn’t stored with adequate filling in it so it retains its shape. It had some but could have benefitted from more. Especially with a high-end piece. But things happen.

projectresale @projectresale My concern was that where the bag was slouched over it was causing the finish on the fabric to crack. This is something that can be repaired and I did that. I sold designer bags at Neiman’s for several years. I know what can be repaired if necessary. So, I am going to add additional photos of the bag and the repairs. I did get the slouchy look out of it.

projectresale @projectresale I will say it’s probably only got a season before it will need to be repaired or it will show wear.. if you wanted to rock it a few times over the summer it should be fine. If you have more questions let me know.

projectresale @projectresale the sealant I applied will keep it from cracking and peeling for the near future. It basically has been retreated but I think that canvas bags treated in this manner do not have a long shelf life anyway. lol
