Absolutely stunning vintage Lyse Spenard linen blazer w/ exceptional craftsmanship & thoughtful design details throughout. This piece is made from thick, structured 100% linen. The fabric features a soft cream-beige base w/ green & yellow floral print. The jacket features a Mao-style collar & beautiful mother-of-pearl buttons, each finished w/ delicate linen ties threaded through the buttons. The front pockets appear to be simple flat pockets, but they are actually gusseted pockets w/ an expansion panel on the side made from contrasting green fabric. Each pocket is finished w/ an additional mother-of-pearl button, adding both visual interest & thoughtful design. The same green fabric appears inside the cuffs, allowing them to be worn rolled up to reveal the contrasting color or worn down for a cleaner look. Another wonderful detail is the removable shoulder pads, which are made from the same linen fabric as the jacket & secured with Velcro so they can easily be removed or repositioned.
