Step back in time with this ultra-feminine 1960s peignoir & nightgown set by the iconic Gossard Artemis Drenched in stunning yellow, this lined, double-layered, sheer nylon set radiates classic mid-century glamour & elegance. The Nightgown: A sleeveless, floor-length gown featuring satin floral appliqués at the neckline & a 2-button closure at the back. Beautifully trimmed in satin at the hem. The Robe: Features matching satin floral appliqués at the neckline & at the cuffs of the 3/4-length sleeves. It closes at the top with 2 satin-covered buttons & boasts a matching satin-trimmed hem. Measurements taken lying flat. Robe Pit-to-Pit: Approx. 19” Nightgown Pit-to-Pit: Approx. 18” Length (Both Pieces): Approx. 52” (from top of shoulder to hem) Size: Vintage Small. While still absolutely stunning & highly wearable, it does have some flaws typical of age. There are a couple of holes (appear to be vintage cigarette burns) on the sheer overlay of the robe. Please see the photos. They actually appear more pronounced in the close-up pictures than they do in person. The threading of the inner lining on the back of the nightgown is starting to come undone. There is a hole in the lining under one arm on the nightgown. (See photos) Note: These minor flaws do not take away from the overall aesthetic or the beautiful silhouette of this set as a whole. I'm selling duplicate items from vintage collection to make room for new finds. 🥰 Comes from a smoke-free home.
