Adorable vintage frog brooch with a gold tone crown by Anne & Jane (A & J) Harvey. Anne Harvey initially began working as an artist and silversmith in 1984 in Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico before moving to Fort Bragg and joining the family business, creating Anne & Jane in 1989. The sisters were talented artists and created whimsical pendants, brooches & earrings from sterling silver. Frogs are considered good luck symbols and are a common animal depicted in their work. The brooch is marked on the back TS-114 Copyright symbol A & J HARVEY MEXICO 925. The pin clasp is in good working order.
