@loridurham Thank you I appreciate your kind words. Just so you are aware. I added 2 or 3 additional pictures and details. The strap measured from end to end from the gold attachment does add length to the bag. So it's 41"L. That's how it's listed above in measurements. The measurement I gave you was from the material of the strap to the end material. It did not include the added length of buckles which is at least 3" more...
