Vintage Silk Scarf Roland Ward Painted Birds Collectible

Roland Ward was a British Victorian taxidermist, naturalist, and conservationist. This vintage scarf is a real treat for the bird-lover. A past listing on WorthPoint has it originating in the 1940's-1950. The birds are vibrant and lifelike, and the detail is amazing--you can see the brushstrokes. Considering it's age, this scarf is in excellent condition. There is a very faint stain only visible in certain light and at certain angles near the beak of the hoopoe.
