U.S. Bicentennial Uncirculated Silver Proof Set

The 1976 Bicentennial Silver Uncirculated Set is a special coin proof set released by the Mint to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States. Set includes 3 coins with special bicentennial designs: 1. Eisenhower Dollar: Regular circulating Eisenhower Dollar was replaced with a special design featuring the Liberty Bell & the moon. 2. Kennedy Half Dollar: Kennedy Half Dollar design was also altered for the bicentennial to showcase Independence Hall. 3. Washington Quarter: Reverse side of the Washington Quarter was changed to feature a colonial drummer. All coins were struck in 40% silver. Kept in pristine condition & displayed in protective packaging with the blue 1971 Eisenhower Uncirculated Silver Dollar envelope between 2 small pieces of thick paper stock (as shown in the photos). Note: Original envelope was red & because it was handed down to me, I’m unsure why they are in this envelope. Clean, detailed obverse portraits. This set is a collector’s dream & is still in perfect condition for display.
