Vintage Polo University Club by Ralph Lauren charcoal pinstripe blazer with classic Ivy League styling and timeless tailored construction. This piece dates approximately from the late 1970s to mid-1980s and was originally sold by upscale menswear retailer Jim Herron Ltd. in Springfield, Illinois. The “Polo University Club” line was a Ralph Lauren diffusion label known for offering high-quality American-made tailoring with the classic collegiate aesthetic Ralph Lauren became famous for during the era. Condition: Very good vintage pre-owned condition overall with normal signs of age and wear consistent with vintage garments. On the back left side near the vent area, there are two very small pinholes that appear consistent with where a tag may have once been attached. They are minor and not very noticeable, but mentioned for full transparency. Marking as very good condition instead of excellent because again this coat is vintage not brand new.
