Description:
Vintage Kramer of New York Clip-On Earrings — Carved Glass with Rhinestone Accents
A lovely pair of signed Kramer clip earrings from the mid-century era, featuring pear-shaped molded art glass cabochons in a warm orange brown/topaz color. The glass has a beautifully detailed flowing feather-and-wave pattern pressed into the surface, giving each stone an almost carved-carnelian look that catches light from every angle.
Each teardrop cabochon is set in a polished gold-tone metal mounting with a graceful S-curve scroll and four prong-set clear rhinestone accents — one at the top, one at the bottom, and one at each side. The combination of warm brown glass, sparkling clear stones, and bright gold tone is classic 1950s–60s Hollywood elegance.
Signature: Both earrings are clearly signed "KRAMER ©" on the clip-back paddle (see close-up photo). Kramer Jewelry Creations operated in New York City from 1943 to 1980 and was known for producing high-quality costume jewelry — including pieces made under license using Christian Dior designs in the 1950s.
