Classic vintage L.L.Bean Bean Boots made in Maine with beautiful full-grain brown leather uppers and dark brown rubber bottoms. Features padded collars, chain-tread outsole, original laces, and iconic heritage outdoor styling. Excellent vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.Leather remains soft and supple. Soles show minimal wear and plenty of life left. Sizing: Traditionally, Bean boots run large. I wear a 10 and tried these on, but I can’t predict how true to size they would be for an 11 with heavy hunting or wool socks. I am marking these as good condition, but honestly, they are fabulous. There is no sign of wear to the leather or rubber and the soles have plenty of life left in them. The leather is soft and supple. It is difficult to date Bean boots, but these appear to be late 80’s to early 90’s. The construction and quality of new Bean boots do not compare to these Made in the USA legends.
