VINTAGE 60s THE FRENCH SHOP Cocktail SIlk Sculptural Draped Pin Up Dress S

Stunning mid-century vintage cocktail dress from THE FRENCH SHOP in Stamford, Connecticut. Likely from the 1960s, in what appears to be smooth, black SILK, this is architecturally sculptural with exceptional tailoring to create that rockabilly structured pouf silhouette. The back is a work of art, with the pleated draping. Excellent condition, stunning for its age. The outer dress is MINT. The inside lining is fully intact, with just some loose seams here or there, but no tears or rips. There is also a hook-and-eye strap inside to further cinch the waist as shown in the photo. Metal zipper works and is smooth to unzip. There is no size on this, but I have measured. I'm estimating an XS-S based on those measurements. Please take a look and let me know if you'd like additional measurements or photos. Please note, I have measured the armholes, because they tend to be on the smaller size in these dresses.
