Excellent antique used condition. No chips or cracks in porcelain.
The lamp does work as seen in the photos however I do not know if it has been rewired and/or the safety of using the lamp. Please use at your own discretion. I do find that a low watt bulb (15 watts) typical work best for my personal antique lamps.
Porcelain figurine measures 9 inches tall. Lamp total height is 11.5 inches tall.
No shade or bulb is included.
Occupied Japan items were produced between 1945 and 1952 during the Allied occupation following World War II. These pieces were required to be marked 'Made in Occupied Japan' or similar variations, making them highly collectible today. Colonial-style figurine lamps were popular decorative items during the mid-20th century, combining functionality with ornamental appeal. These pieces are valued by collectors of Occupied Japan memorabilia, vintage home decor enthusiasts, and those interested in post-war Japanese export ceramics.
