Love to bundle! Check out my other listings to save on shipping. A charming mid-century collectible miniature porcelain wall plate featuring a vibrant, hand-painted songbird perched on a delicate, branch with rich autumnal orange leaves. The bird is rendered in striking shades of teal, emerald green, and soft yellow.
The plate is secured within an integrated, black-finished iron wire frame designed with an outer scalloped border of open loops. The reverse side features a crisp, red overglaze stamped mark reading "HAND PAINTED", typical of mid-century Japanese export ceramics. The wire frame includes a built-in top hanging loop, making it ready to display as wall art, though it can also be showcased on a small tabletop easel.
Material: Porcelain, iron wire
Origin: Japan (Export Ware)
Period: Circa 1950s–1960s
Dimensions: Approximately 4" in diameter (porcelain plate) / 6.75" total width including the wire loop frame
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing to the porcelain. The hand-painted enamel remains bright with minimal surface wear. The wire frame shows a light, authentic vintage patina with no structural breaks or missing welds.
