Tibi Mateo Crochet Apron Top

Lace and crochet are once again having a moment, and if you love the aesthetic but skew toward creative pragmatism, it's difficult to find pieces that combine this ornate look with chill modernity. This piece from Tibi is from the Spring 2015 collection, but it feels just as current today. Crochet is quite traditional and classic, and therefore rather timeless, so If you love the look and want a special piece that carries an outfit, this is a great option. This top is in beautiful condition. I got it second-hand with tags a few years ago, and wore it just once, over a white tee. There are no stains or any notable signs of wear. The front panel is unlined, but offers good coverage around the bust. It reaches just past the hips, or mid-thigh, depending on your height. The back is solid and reaches the natural waist. There are ties on the side that can be adjusted. I'm letting this beauty go because, sadly, it doesn't have enough ease for me, and I don't want it to languish in my closet. However, it's priced to reflect some reluctance as well as the quality and condition of the piece.
