Hand Painted Porcelain Divided Vanity Tray, Signed & Dated 1954 D. Ferrero

This exquisite custom-made vanity tray is a true work of art! It is made of fine translucent porcelain and has a satin glaze of very pale blue. Each of the four tulip-shaped bowls has hand-painted roses along one edge, and the handle also has hand-painted roses. The tray's rim is edged in gold. It measures 7 inches square. What makes this tray really special are the inscriptions on the back, which are under the glaze: 1954 August -- D. Ferrero 1954 Happy Birthday Marie Love, Mom and Dad The tray is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Only the slightest wear to the gold rim. NOT FOR FOOD USE.
