Finished Vintage counted cross-stitch design from the Bothy Threads "Countryside" series, developed from artwork by Rose Swalwell. Scene- ("Low Meadow Farm") design in this series cottage collections listed from the early 1990s. It depicts an idyllic rural setting with rolling green hills, a small pond, a wooden shed in the foreground, and distant mountain peaks. This was acquired at an estate sale of a Turkish grandmother who is moving out of her home. Her granddaughter said she would sit and do this type of needlework in front of the TV. I do see a little ripple in fabric in the sky area. This is just from the way it is mounted- not mounted professionally, but the frame is in very nice condition.
