This beautiful speedy style barrel bag has multiple colors splashed over a caramel base color. It's a definite conversation starter and carries beautifully. I Painted it with Angelus leather paint and clear finisher. Bag features Dooney & Bourke's pebbled All Weather Leather, two carry handles, adjustable/removable long strap (Strap has gold tone hardware and is faux leather painted to match), zip top closure, interior rear wall zip pocket with card slots, front duck logo and hanging brass fob ID tag #A1476417 I have added a gold tone working lock and key with hanging custom key clochette for additional style. NOTE: Bag interior does have ink stains that seem to be common with vintage Dooney & Bourke bags (please see photos). Bag measures approximately 11" wide, 7.5" tall, 6" deep with a 25" long strap drop. Bag is cross listed Please keep in mind that this is a vintage bag and it's condition is consistent with it's age and use which may include scuffs, soiling, softening of leather, lightening or darkening of leather and hardware tarnishing. As condition can be a matter of opinion, please view all photos closely as they are the largest part of the item description. I would be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Thank you for visiting my closet! IDOD 100078

purseaddict60 This is a unique bag. Are you a painter by trade? What prompted you to paint it and what is the original name of the bag? Thank you!

timetocreate Thank you for the interest in my bag. I am a crafter and love creating. I have seen this bag referred to as an R28 Boston Bag or Satchel. I am not sure of the proper vintage name for it. The bag's original color had some fading which is why I decided to give it a new look. As for the interior, I have cleaned it for sanitary purposes only.

purseaddict60 Were you able to restore the hardware at all, as far as the tarnishing?
