VINTAGE John Frederic in cream light weight ruffled fabric hat. This headpiece with a sparkling crystal-accent band is reminiscent of the bed caps ladies used to wear in the 1920s. The fabric is In mint condition. The rhinestones are all there. The fabric is very Lightweight and soft. There are two rhinestone attached to the label on the inside of the hat which leads me to believe the original hat had a rhinestone band around it. This band looks newer than a Art Deco band, but the Rhinestone on the band are vintage. I would say from the 1960s if they were added on. It is a great unusual hat for the person with a collectors eye.
