Authentic Iwachu cast iron teapot from Japan, featuring the classic hobnail texture and a matte black finish. Iwachu (Zi/), established in Morioka in 1902, is known for producing high-quality traditional tetsubin and iron teaware.
This piece is enamel-lined, making it suitable for brewing tea while retaining heat beautifully. The low, rounded silhouette and arched handle give it a grounded, sculptural presence-equally functional and display-worthy.
The original Iwachu maker's mark is stamped on the underside.
