Fabric is soft and does have stretch to it. Zips up the back. I adore this dress. It’s gorgeous. Unfortunately it was way too big for me particularly in the bust area. This dress would be perfect for a more well endowed person than myself. I’m very small chested and there was a lot of extra room in the chest area. It is Brand New With Tags! The only call out is that several of the decorative (non-functional) buttons down the front are loose. (See last picture) Extra button is attached to inside fabric content tag.
