Lovely pair of Victorian garnet earrings have been modified into screw backs. I believe originally they had wire hooks for pierced ears. The oval garnet dangle measures 1" x 2/4". The screw back closure is gold filled. Condition is very good.

So sad that they modified them with screws. If I will purchase them I need to modified them back for piercing…
