Cathrineholm Avacado Green with White Lotus Pattern Enamelware Plate

A great find to add to or start your Cathrineholm collection! This enamelware plate was designed by Grete Prytz Kittelsen and made in the 1960s at the Cathrineholm factory in Halden, Norway. The plate is made of steel that was then coated in a durable porcelain enamel finish. Artist Arne Clausen was responsible for the fun graphic lotus pattern featured on this piece. The avacado and white colorway is especially sought after among collectors. This piece is in good vintage condition showing minor use. Two small enamel dings on back of plate rim. No rust on the bowl, no scratches on lotus design. See photos for detail. Plate measures 10” diameter.
