Authentic vintage Navajo/Southwestern fetish necklace featuring hand-cut turquoise, jasper, serpentine, and black stone heishi beads (graduated 4mm - 9mm), strung on original cord with sterling silver cone terminals and hook clasp. Stone inlay terminals feature serpentine backing, consistent with mid-20th-century Southwestern construction. Strung on original cord with natural age wear. This necklace demonstrates classic Navajo construction with mixed stone inlay and natural patina consistent with mid-20th-century craftsmanship (1950s-1970s). No maker’s mark beyond sterling. A well-made, authentic vintage piece with strong presence and wear appropriate to age. Unlike simple heishi strands, fetish necklaces are defined by their sculptural terminals and architectural use of stone and silver, making them more complex to produce and more collectible.
