Vtg Hand painted, unique hand carved wood Mexican folk art plaque. Features a rustic ox-drawn cart with a carved wood texture around the edge resembling a frame. It depicts traditional rural life showing a villager or farmer driving the cart. Appears there is a siesta happening as well. They seem to be near a small village with churches showing. Signed "Chico" Measures approximately 11 3/4" x 9 1/2" x 1/4" thick wood slab. Comes with heavily patined hanging chain.
