50’s California Pottery Ceramic Cuckoo Clock Wall Pocket Planter.

Add the perfect touch of mid-century whimsy to your walls with this vintage ceramic cuckoo clock wall pocket/planter! Modeled after traditional Black Forest German cuckoo clocks, this highly collectible 1950s novelty piece features a high-gloss glaze in rich brown and vibrant green tones, complete with molded oak leaves, two birds perched at the top, are love birds emerging above the clock face. Featuring two separate, dangling pinecone weights and a central pendulum that sway freely when hung. The top/ back features a hollow well perfect for displaying small houseplants, trailing ivy, or artificial florals. Excellent vintage condition with bright, shiny glaze. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Some crazing consistent with age as shown (70+ years). Pendulum and dangling weights are intact. Total length 16.5”. 7.25” at widest point. 3.5” deep.
