This casual v-neck shirt is a beautiful, ultra-soft vintage pullover shirt uniquely upcycled from a historic Y. Hata & Co. Ltd. rice sack originating out of Honolulu, Hawaii. This incredible piece celebrates Hawaii’s deep plantation heritage and early Japanese immigrant style, refashioned into a comfortable modern streetwear garment. Unlike raw, stiff burlap supply bags, this garment is made from an incredibly soft, broken-in cotton blend. It features two faded, unreadable labels inside the neck seam, characteristic of independent artisan or boutique upcycled design clothing labels. * Front Graphics: Bold, beautifully faded printing featuring the "Kokeshi Rice AA" brand with two traditional Japanese Kokeshi dolls. Text includes "Premium Calrose Rice, U.S. No. 1 Extra Fancy, Packed For Y. Hata & Co. Ltd., Honolulu, Hawaii 96812". * Utility Details: Features a functional patch pocket on the left chest and split side vents at the bottom hem for an easy, relaxed drape. * Material: Lightweight, breathable, pre-washed vintage soft cotton or cotton-blend.
