Vintage Signed Turquoise Onyx & Mother of Pearl Inlay Ring

Lovely bright blue water web turquoise flanks a center of black onyx and Mother of Pearl. This is a channel inlay ring - all stones hand cut with strips of sterling silver between. I particularly like the mother of Pearl in half-moons against the jet black - Water web/Moons/night sky - so very apropos! The turquoise has visible white/light blue matrix. Beautiful, elongated shape that is so lovely on the finger. This piece is hand signed JN, engraved in cursive on the back - possibly early Jerry Nelson. Set in sterling with split shank, smooth bezel and rope detailing all the way around. Perhaps 70's or 80"s. Size - approximately 5 3/4 but please see photo on mandrel for best estimation. Excellent vintage condition, with mild wear as would be expected for age. I really adore this ring and am loathe to give it up, but it is a little small for the finger I'd want to wear it on. I wish it was bigger, but perhaps it will be perfect for you!
