Vintage Bitossi Soraya Thai Silk Ashtray Aldo Londi Italy MCM Pottery Dish 7.5"

This vintage mid-century modern Italian art pottery ashtray was designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi in the striking "Soraya" (also known as Thai Silk) pattern. Measuring approximately 7.5 inches in diameter, the ceramic dish features a vibrant green rim and a deep blue center accented with embossed, incised gold-leaf details. The glazed base is marked "ITALY" and handwritten with the factory form number 427. Good vintage condition with rich glaze colors and bright gold accents. It displays one small, visible flake chip on the green inner rim edge as shown in the detail photo, but is otherwise free of cracks, structural hairlines, or repairs. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency.
