Antique English blue and white transferware handled serving dish by Ashworth Brothers, Staffordshire, England, dating to the early 19th century (circa 1815–1835).
Decorated in the Canton (Willow-type) Chinese landscape pattern, featuring pagodas, bridge, water scene, and willow trees. Blue transfer print on earthenware with characteristic early flow and age-appropriate crazing. Oval pseudo-Oriental backstamp consistent with early Ashworth export wares.
This is a handled serving dish, not a dinner plate. Handled forms of this size were produced in smaller quantities and are less common than flat plates.
