This is a gorgeous vintage sterling silver and amethyst ring, made in Taxco, Mexico. The center stone is a deep faceted purple with pointed back, which can be seen through the extra tall prong setting and open back design of the ring. It is surrounded by unique geometric open work halo in silver.
