Sold on another platform. New mahjong tiles. Tile size approximately 1.4375” x 1” x 0.4375”. Got these direct from china for an event but they didn’t arrive in time. Similar to sets sold for $485. Cross listed.

mktmills If you got them direct from china, they would not be worth “similar sets” that are from the actual mahjong line.

jillcarm @mktmills where do you think companies get their mahjong sets made? 😂 I am not claiming they are “worth” anything and am selling at almost 60% less than the ones to which I made the comparison. In general, I’m not sure what you’re trying to achieve with your comment. Maybe you are just the type of person who gets kicks out of being nasty online. If they’re not for you, don’t buy them. Moot point because they sold on another platform this weekend anyway. Bye now.

mktmills @jillcarm my comment was not “nasty”, just factual information to make sure people dont get scammed. I’ve been seeing a lot of overpriced unbranded mahjong sets from resellers. You can get this set for $100 on alibaba. I just thought it was disingenuous to say “similar sets” are bought for $485 when this is just a dupe.

jillcarm @mktmills How big of you! I didn’t buy them on alibaba, but if others want to, power to them. Disingenuous? I was honest about where I got the tiles and did not claim a brand name. If you want to drop knowledge, start a blog, don’t attack sellers with accurate descriptions. I’m including the definition of “similar” in case anyone else other than you is confused on the meaning: Similar means alike, comparable, and resembling. It describes things that are almost the same, but not identical.
