SOLD ~ Vintage BONNIE CASHIN Tote for D Klein, tan/brown canvas, very rare, 1977

This is a very unique and collectible (only one with this design I have even seen) Bonnie Cashin canvas tote, designed for the firm D Klein in the 70s. Very light, can be folded for storage, sturdy double straps, inside has a zipped large pocket. When opened holds its shape, it is not stuffed for pictures. The condition is very good IMHO, considering that is almost 50 yrs old with a light color and material. There are no holes, stains, pen marks or snags on the outside, clean straps, not worn edges. Inside is also free of pen marks/ink, dirt, etc... This bag was only spot cleaned not washed, unsure the brown could transfer and unfortunately still did a bit, leaving a reddish mark on the inside bottom after drying. There is some loss of brown color on the edges/corners and there is wear around the turnlocks, but they are not loose.
