Antique bar pin Victorian gold tone Etruscan brooch 1800s red pink gem

This lovely old pin has an ornate applied and etched Etruscan style design. It has a faceted reddish- pink gem in the center that looks like it might be a garnet. The center circle part reminds me of a ship's steering wheel, with little "spokes" around the edge. It's made of yellow gold tone metal. Elongated C clasp. This pin was made in the 1800s Victorian era. It does show it's age with surface wear and age patina to the metal, still so lovely as is! Heirloom quality jewelry. Measures approx 2 3/8" long.
