Vintage Y2K 90s Lip Service Black Velvet Lace and Sheer Bell Sleeve Maxi Dress

Lip Service maxi dress in rich black velvet. Gothic-inspired square bib and draped sheer sleeves. Floor-length silhouette with subtle train. Dramatic evening statement piece. This dress is absolutely gorgeous with sheer panels and lace details. There are slits on the outside of the sleeves to allow the upper layer of velvet, trimmed with lace, and the bottom layer of sheer fabric to flow playfully. There are sheer panels in the skirt that are fun and flirty and allow for a fun flow when walking or dancing. Unfortunately there is some noticeable age to the bust - a bit of cracking from the age of the fabric, as shown. Dress is also missing the ribbon for the bust. Worn once and kept in storage.
