Vintage Sue Wong pink satin embellished dress, size 10, style C4402. Likely early-to-mid 2000s / Y2K era.
Beautiful romantic Sue Wong dress designed to look like a two-piece corset-and-skirt set, but it is actually one attached dress. Features a strapless corset-style bodice with structured seaming, pink satin fabric, floral appliqué embroidery, ribbon detailing, beading, sequins, and iridescent mother-of-pearl style button embellishments. The skirt portion has decorative seaming and a softly ruffled hem. Perfect for Y2K, coquette, fairycore, romantic eveningwear, party/cocktail, prom, wedding guest, or special occasion styling.
Label reads Sue Wong, size 10, style #C4402, RN69701. Made in China. Shell is 92% polyester / 8% spandex. Lining is 100% polyester. Professional dry clean only.
Condition: Good pre-owned vintage condition with flaws. Some embellishments are loose or delicate, including loose strands/beading near the seam and zipper area. One small mark on the satin, shown in photos. There is some striping/discoloration or texture variation along the top edge of the bodice; unsure if from age, storage, fabric finish, or original construction. Satin has natural shine variation and creasing/wrinkling.
this dress is approximately 1–2 sizes too large on the model, so modeled photos show extra folding, looseness, and wrinkling due to fit. It should sit smoother on someone closer to the tagged size or could be tailored.
