Arabian Nights are a dream pair. I was fortunate enough to recently purchase a Vault pair with the exceptionally vibrant color shift I had been searching for, so I've decided to pass these along to another Tieks collector. These remain a beautiful, authentic pair of retired Arabian Nights Tieks with the signature oil slick finish that shifts between emerald, sapphire, violet, bronze, and gold depending on the lighting. These are in very good pre-owned condition and have been well cared for. Beautiful, glossy oil slick color shift throughout. Leather remains supple. Elastic remains in excellent condition. Soles show normal wear consistent with careful use and have plenty of life remaining. Interior leather footbeds show expected patina and creasing from normal wear. Clean interior with no odors, smoke, or pet smells. As many Tieks collectors know, Arabian Nights are known for occasional scale lifting over time. There is very slight early lifting beginning on a small area of the left toe, which I photographed in close-up for complete transparency. It is not noticeable during normal wear, but I prefer to disclose every detail so buyers know exactly what they are purchasing.
