They are bezel set in an intricate silver setting that showcases the beautiful craftsmanship and free form botanical style that is characteristic of the period. The earrings are stamped 825, also known as European or Continental Silver. This silver alloy has 82.5% pure silver along with other metals, usually copper, nickel, or zinc, for strength.
