This is a vintage pair of Pyrex Butterfly Gold Salt and Pepper Shakers. Featuring the highly popular, Butterfly Gold Pattern, which includes small stylized flowers and butterflies in the iconic, mustard yellow hue. They were made by Corning glassworks starting in the 1970s to match their highly popular Corelle "Butterfly Gold" dinnerware sets. The lids are a distinctive mustard-yellow plastic tops shaped like a key or a wheel with long plastic prongs that extend down into the bottle neck. These help distribute the salt and pepper or keep clumps from forming.
