Authentic antique porcelain celery / relish tray dating from the late Victorian to early Edwardian era (circa 1890–1910). This exquisite piece features a striking Art Nouveau silhouette with heavily scalloped, wavy edges and elegant pierced geometric cut-out handles on each end.The dish is decorated in soft, airbrushed pastel gradients of pale green and soft blue, beautifully accented by vibrant transfer-printed floral clusters of pink, white, and burgundy roses. Delicate, raised gold-gilt beaded detailing trims the scalloped rims.
Dimensions:
Length: 11.5''
Width: 5.5''
Depth: 1.75''
Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, structural damage, or repairs.
Surface & Glaze: The colors remain vibrant and intact. There is minor, age-appropriate wear to the gold gilt detailing along the rim, which adds beautiful vintage character.
Manufacturing Details: The bottom of the dish is unstamped/unmarked, featuring only a light, incised lowercase worker/gilder letter "h" on the base ring.
There is some minor "glaze blistering" (tiny micro-bubbles under the glaze) near the bowl center, which is a common and authentic manufacturing artifact from late 19th-century factory firing processes. This elegant tray is perfect for a historical porcelain collection or for modern repurposing as a stunning dresser valet / jewelry catch-all tray.
