Isabel Marant Dress

Absolutely stunning Isabel Marant black dress — definitely not designed for the shy. This piece features a plunging neckline with beautifully draped fabric that gathers at the waist and shoulders, creating a soft, flattering shirred effect. Crafted from whisper-light chiffon (polyester that looks and feels like silk), the fabric moves effortlessly and gives the dress an ethereal, almost Grecian feel. The skirt is lined from the waist down, while the bodice remains unlined for a sheer, airy look. Can be styled a variety of ways. Wear as-is for a bold, editorial look, or layer with a bralette or bandeau for more coverage. I originally pulled this to style a mannequin at an upscale consignment shop I do window displays for, and completely fell in love — had to have it. Worn once for a special occasion when I needed a true showstopper designer piece, and I likely won’t wear it again. Effortless, feminine, and unmistakably Isabel Marant.
