vintage 80s purse

Vintage (my guess is 1980s) clam shell style hard case purse with gold chain strap & clasp. Shades of swirling burgundy pearlescent exterior with burgundy red leather interior. The case makes me think of a bowling ball, it's got a similar design & sheen, very glossy. Strap can be fully tucked inside to use as a clutch. Good vintage condition, some signs of wear, missing the cabochon on the clasp (see photos), but could be easily replaced.
