Excellent, like new, Pre-Serial Number Era. This bag features a raw, unlined green suede, most likely from the mid-1980 and there is no serial number behind the D&B tag, but there is Dooney Bourke embossed on the hardware. Dooney & Bourke All-Weather Leather Surrey crossbody bag in a dark green and British tan color combination, featuring a front flap and buckle closure. The bag was constructed using premium, heavy-duty materials designed to withstand heavy everyday use. All-Weather Leather® (AWL): The main body is crafted from Dooney & Bourke's signature 100% cowhide pebble leather. Developed by the brand in 1983, this material underwent a unique shrinking process that tightened the grain, making it naturally waterproof and highly scratch-resistant. Water famously beads up and sheds right off it. British Tan Trim: The piping, structural borders, front emblem, and straps are made from smooth, contrasting trimming leather.Solid Brass Hardware: The front buckle closure, strap adjusters, and rivets are made entirely of heavy solid brass, which naturally develops a vintage patina over time.
